Project Description

One of numerous depots we’ve worked on for Shurgard Storage, this London location was treated to a resurfaced yard and parking area. We had to carry out the work while the self-storage facility remained operational, so we barriered off our working area and split the project into phases to minimise disruption and keep everybody safe.

We adjusted the levels of the whole yard to ensure manhole covers remained flush with the surface, using a planer to reduce levels where necessary.

Once we’d resurfaced half of the yard, we reopened that section entirely to the public and began working on the other half. This helped us to avoid inconveniencing the depot’s staff and customers any more than was necessary.
