Project Description

We worked on two individual depots for Big Yellow Group, one of which was located in Tunbridge Wells, the other being in Colchester, Essex.

Work included extending the width of the roadway leading into the depot and resurfacing the area where the depots’ storage containers are located. When we began, the levels at this section of the depot were inconsistent. We resolved this and extended the width of the area to accommodate between 10 and 12 shipping containers.

Because the hard standing area was higher than the surrounding yard, we then installed kerbs and a crash barrier for safety.

Each project also involved excavating and installing electrical ducting, so that power could be supplied safely to the new containers.
