Playground Surfacing at Pilgrim School

Project Details

Project Description

The Pilgrim School project was challenging, as the play area had a number of awkward spots which our paving machine couldn’t fit into. The end result made all of the effort worthwhile, however.

We adjusted the levels of the yard to ensure that the manhole covers and gully pots were flush with the area around them. We then saw-cut to the boundary and broke up the surface to ensure a flush finish.

Using a paving machine, we finished by laying down the new surface – 6mm medium-textured surface course.
